  1. Myth: Get a recommendation from the most important, famous and impressive person you or your parents know.
  2. Myth: When applying early, there’s no real difference between early action and early decision.
  3. Myth: Standardized test scores (SAT, ACT) don’t really matter.
  4. Myth: Being a legacy (the child of an alumnus) gets you in.
