A reader asks our beauty director which products she considers DIY manicure must-haves.
Eden Univer,Teen Vogue Q: As someone who's tried seemingly every polish on earth, what do you keep around as your must-haves? (Either because it's the perfect basic or there's nothing else quite like it).
A: This will probably make a legion of beauty addicts gnash their teeth in fury, but I have a personal rule where I try never to use the same polish twice. Once I've used a polish, it either goes back into the beauty closet (a magical room where we store all the beauty products from the season), to another Teen Vogue staffer, or to a friend or family member (my sister-in-law appreciates a good glitter!). Crazy, I know, but otherwise my whole apartment would be filled with polish. Read on to learn about my favorite basics!
