For the first time since I was 19, I'm living in a house all my own. My children and I moved here after my husband asked for a divorce and upon unpacking the final box, I declared that everything coming into my home from there on out would be something that inspires me. So I've slowly begun collecting an eclectic mix of used furniture, vintage keepsakes, and kickass pillows. I've spray painted ugly furniture, hunted down breathtaking throw blankets, and tried to make a space that feels like home. So far, I feel like it's working. Nowadays, I come home, take one look at my living room and can't stop smiling. It's just so me. It's just so home.
