Karolina Kurkova, the Supermodel-turned-actress-turned-mom-to-be, came by The Thread to tell us all about her very first movie role in "G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra." There were no sequined bikinis or angel wings on this job: Kurkova plays 'Cover Girl', a former supermodel (get it) who becomes the right hand of General Hawk (Dennis Quaid). Suiting up in combat boots and Army fatigues, Karolina says, was a nice change. There's even a toy action figure you can buy of Cover Girl in full tough girl regalia. Heidi Klum, you better watch out for this one!
