Here's our lovely reader's question:

I'm twenty years old, and I'm a lesbian. I recognize that there are some gorgeous boys out there, but I've never felt anything for them--and I've totally had feelings for girls. I came out when I was sixteen and dealt with drama from my parents and "friends." My best friend stuck by me and that really helped. When I came to college, I kept my social circle within the LGBT community.

Last week there was much ado about a church sign put up in Ohio that played on a line from Katy Perry's hit song and read "I kissed a girl / and I liked it / then I went to heck." It got taken down within 24 hours, but apparently that had less to do with the bad national publicity and more to do with local outraged churchgoers who didn't catch the pop culture reference and were just appalled at the mere mention of gay issues in public. ("What? It's on a sign? That's just free advertising for the queers!")

Lindsay caught smooching "friend" Samantha Ronson

Now that the rumors are flying, it seems close pals Lindsay Lohan and DJ Samantha Ronson don’t feel the need to hide their true feelings. Last night Sam put a picture of them kissing as her default photo on MySpace—and the photo comments are all very supportive! Perhaps this is because we haven’t seen Lindsay this happy in years and we're glad to see a smile on her face... but there may be more to it.
