Can you believe it's already Friday again? How was your week? What are you wearing today? Is it awesome?

Dear readers, my outfit is not. In fact it may be the antithesis of awesome, filling no one I see today with glee. Truth is, I've kind of hit the wall with summer 2008 style. My new shoes, my great hope of fashion resuscitation, have not arrived yet and basically I'm feeling sick of everything. If I have to look at another pair of gladiators or yet one more maxi dress, I might be forced to choke myself with an exotic-print scarf.

Ok. So here it is, my outfit: I'm actually wearing LEGGINGS (forgive me); a long, baggy, mesh-ish, lavender-colored tank-top sweater and...flip-flops. I'm kind of doing an early-80s work-out goes to the beach in 1994. It's confusing

Last night I went to amazing fundraiser for the Robin Hood Foundation. They raised 56.5 million dollars in one night. It was unbelievable. The invitation called for "festive attire" but the majority of women wore black - surprise, surprise. When I think festive, I think sparkle, color - decorated clothing, not somber workwear.
