And so one of my best friends - the woman who was still mostly a girl when I met her on a train platform outside of an all-ages club, dressed in Girbaud jeans and granny boots and with long hair slicked back Robert Palmer video girl style - is now a mother. That makes me giddy, grateful, and more than ever before, so glad to be a mama friend to another mother.
