      <title>A greener Christmas tree</title>

food-related note, I wanted to share some tips on finding an
&amp;lt;span&amp;gt;eco&amp;lt;/span&amp;gt;-friendly Christmas tree. I am a firm
believer in &amp;lt;a rel="nofollow"
href="http://www.christmastree.org/facts.cfm"&amp;gt;real
trees&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt; -- they absorb carbon dioxide, produce oxygen, are
replanted and biodegradable, and support green spaces that could
otherwise be developed into new subdivisions -- but I&amp;amp;#39;m
embarrassed to admit I hadn&amp;amp;#39;t really thought of going
organic with our holiday tree despite having first-hand experience
with Christmas tree &amp;lt;a rel="nofollow"
href="http://www.beyondpesticides.org/dailynewsblog/?p=234"&amp;gt;pesticides&amp;lt;/a&amp;gt;
as a child.</description>
