What a hot day it was. My face was red, my cloths were soaking wet and I was drinking water as fast as I could. I was watching as every one started slowing down from the heat, some were laying under the neighbors tree next door, some went under my tent for shade

These kinds of beauty news stories really bum me out:
A Bollywood-style advertisement for a skin-lightening product called "White Beauty" (subtle!) in India features two women and one dashing dude, who is torn between
a dark-skinned woman and one with a paler complexion. Guess who gets the guy?

The "whitening" market in India is similar to the one in Japan, where a pale complexion is considered by some to be a valuable asset, teaching millions of women to
feel ashamed of their natural skin color.

Hi! Yes I use the old language of my era. After 21 years working in a library I retired. The retirement was so small that I had to find another job. I am working for Northrop Grumman Newport News as an Office Assistant processing purchase orders and filing. It's not too bad, but what a bummer...
