The beauty industry was in a tizzy a couple of months ago when Rodial UK announced it would be launching Boob Job, a hormone-free topical meant to increase cup size, later this summer, and it's now available at US stores like Bliss. Sure, it sold like pancakes over in Jolly Old (why, I haven't seen a stampede like that since Boots No. 7 came out!).

If you've ever had a self tanner mishap (orange streaks ring a bell much?), then you might have sworn off trying to alter your skin color for life. Then again, if you've ever had an A1 totally successful experience made in self tanning heaven, you know that a golden hue does make your skin look perfectly even toned and maybe even just a little bit Sophia Loren-esque, just a little.

Did Eve Lom start the fancy face cleansing balm trend? We here at PF HQ think so. We've been a fan of hers since the late '90s, when we spent many an afternoon hiking up to Barneys to get our hands on her famous, herbal cleansing goo complete with muslin washcloth. (True story: I once got an exclusive facial from Eve herself, and she did this crazy massage thing where she um, not only righted my crow's feet, she also gave the girls a feel...it was weird, but hey, she's European!). Anyhoo, lately it's not all about Eve. We're cheating on her.

It's hard not to take it personally when someone sends you a tube of Rodial Body Sculpture Daily Slimming and Anti-Cellulite Gel, because, what, even the marketing people are horrified by the sight of my ass in a swimsuit? I swallow my lumpy, bumpy pride because I love my job (and you, gentle gorgeous reader) so damned much. The goop contains some great natural ingredients like lavender and pomegranate, plus caffeine to stimulate "drainage" (UGH) and some mysterious bio-marine actives (I imagine this is developed by smart scientific dolphins). I steadied myself for whatever might be entailed with "drainage" and cranked it out immediately post-shower.
