cool bulldog clips

We’ve always been fond of the bulldog clip, and a bulldog clip with a magnet, even more. So you know we totally flipped somersaults when we saw these clever little numbers (or letters) in our inbox this past week.

Designed by Bubbo, the bulldog clips and pins are made with real vintage typewriter keys, that come in a sweet little cardboard box and are beautifully packaged.

A fun new print from the folks at Keep Calm. It's a hand pulled screen print using charcoal grey ink on soft white 100% recycled paper. According to their website, the phrase is believed to have been coined by former US President Harry S. Truman.

Gocco Love

Hand-lettering + gocco = love! (Gocco is a Japanese screen-printing system). We are oogeling over this new print by Cambridge, MA graphic designer, Chris Piascik. We just picked up these babies on the gocco radar screen and had to highlight them. Now available at his etsy shop (listed below)....

I just spotted these record letterpress coasters from Things are better with a parrott's etsy shop today. Graduating from gocco to a letterpress, Sarah has a great sense of design, and I'm loving these. They are letterpressed by hand on her vintage Golding Jobber No.6 on 3.5" round heavy coaster stock.

mailbox love

I've been bookmarking mailboxes (another entryway idea) for a while now and came across another recently in Domino Magazine (cul-de-sac chic) by Domino blogger, Nick Olsen. So I rounded them all up off my desktop, so to speak, with the idea to place a mailbox "inside" your home (by the door of course) to stash and remind you of all the items you need to grab before one heads out the door (letters to mail, cell, keys, etc).
