Between guy-liner and boy buns, I know that the male species is increasingly becoming a bit more feminine, but man-manicures take the cake. Last week I was seated next to a (straight!) gentleman on my flight to London wearing black nail polish. True story. Of course I asked a million questions!

As it turns out, photographer and blogger Adrian Morales' never steps out in public without black polish on his nails. "It's my signature style-usually my wife (better known as my partner-in-crime) paints them for me."
His wife... paints his nails... black... for... him... (Now I know how obsessive I am about my weekly manicures, and I remove my nail polish the instant I see the first chip. I'm not sure how I'd feel about my significant other sharing my passion for pretty polish.)

When I landed, I asked another one of my manicure-addicted male friends what women think about he's perfectly manicured tips. His response? He actually does it for the ladies.
"I started getting my nails done before fashion shows, and I kept it up because girlfriends loved it," says model-turned-DJ Ellison Robinson. "As a DJ I use my hands a lot, so it's necessary for me to keep them looking good and pampered. I mostly do them myself, nude and buffed. I would never wear color though!"
And the strangest thing about this? Perhaps women are much more progressive than I am. Jessica Alba's husband Cash Warren was recently spotted with fuchsia nails, and Heidi Klum's soon-to-be-ex Seal was snapped with neon yellow tips.
What do you think? How would you feel about your husband/boyfriend/boytoy wearing nail polish in any color other than clear?
