The fragrance world is getting busy with all the new fall items hitting store shelves, and in the weirdest launch we've seen yet, a toast-scented perfume made its debut at London Fashion Week. The fragrance, aptly-named Eau De Toast, was created by the UK Federation of Bakers, and contains notes of caramel, malt-and of course, bread. We've seen fragrances inspired by sunscreen and paper before, but toast definitely brings a new sort of gourmand scent to the table. A study published in the Journal of Social Psychology found that the smell of freshly-baked bread caused people to act kinder toward strangers, and while we're not sure if Eau De Toast's aroma will prompt someone to offer you their seat on the bus or train, you can request a sample at bakersfederation.org.uk to find out for yourself. But if smelling like a bakery isn't your thing, Bottega Veneta is offering up an opulent way to layer their signature scent with their Luxury Bath Collection. The range includes a body scrub, body oil, and shimmering body powder, each bearing the same plum, pink pepper, and jasmine sambac notes of the original fragrance. Additionally, a hair mist will be available exclusively at Bottega Veneta boutiques. Find the Luxury Bath Collection at specialty stores and Bottega Veneta boutiques starting next month, priced from $60 to $95!
