This Holiday Season's Coolest Nail-Polish Collection (It Might Surprise You)

Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas album might be a little cheesy (or more than a little), but I'm the first to admit that I totally get into it. And now I'll say the same thing about her holiday nail-polish collection for OPI. The line sounds corny, with shade names like Ski Slope Sweetie, In My Santa Suit, and Kiss Me at Midnight, but the colors are actually cool and sophisticated. There isn't one I don't like. In fact, when picking our favorite holiday nail polishes this year, I had a hard time narrowing it down to just one: There are six different shimmering reds, from a bright cherry to a sexy garnet. There is a gorgeous pearly white (that would be Ski Slope Sweetie), which looks great on its own or layered under the sparkly silver topcoat (I Snow You Love Me). I'm obsessed with the decadent brown hue (Warm Me Up) and the edgy textured black that will be perfect for New Year's Eve (Liquid Sand Emotion). When it comes to this limited-edition line, I'll steal a line from the artist herself: "All I want for Christmas is you," which, incidentally, is also the name of a pretty, delicate, sparkly lilac.
