The scent is almost dare I say…..SENSUAL! Upon first glimpse I imagine some sort of smooth custard being slathered all over my body and then to my surprise it literally leaves my skin extremely soft and touchable for the full 24 hour or more. The makers didn't lie about how calming and relaxing it is especially when whipped up after a shower either before bed or headed into a long scary day. Although the formula is crazy moisturizing, (the shea butter and vitamin B5 both make grand appearances) it's not as thick as the Vaseline Intensive Care brands which happen to be my "go to" staples for years; especially during old man winters 9 month marathon. I think the sensitive skin sufferers would love this as well; no beware signs here. I've experimented with applying it to my lips pre-balm and pre-gloss and around my mouth area where it can sometimes get really dry and ashy and I've been impressed so far which is a plus since sometimes not everyone can afford a separate facial moisturizer. It's clean, non oily with no evidence of clogged pores, flaking or chapping. Overall, although I plan to stay loyal to my VIC emollients and tend to consider myself a Kiehls product aficionado, I would definitely recommend this moisturizer as a great drug store buy ($7.99 + $1.00 online coupon). However, for those with super dry skin I'd probably over indulge in it resulting in running through this large 16 ouncer quickly or combine it with another favorite moisturizer or body cream for full coverage. But the one thing I just can't get over...............I'M SO FRIGGIN SOFT!!!!!!
