Rainbow Colored Hair is Not Just for Celebrities

It looks like the trickle-down effect doesn't only exist in the fashion world: While style trends usually go from the runway to red carpet to high street, in the land of beauty it skips the middleman and goes straight from Instagram to the masses. Case in point: rainbow hair dye.

2014 has been all about pastel and brightly-colored hair, with Kelly Osbourne and her lavender locks paving the way, and the likes of Nicole Richie, Kylie Jenner, Katy Perry, and Rihanna (in a wig) all following suit. Now, Glamour UK is reporting that eBay has seen a rise in the sale of Technicolor dyes, no doubt thanks to these daring ladies. Leading the pack is purple, with a 320 percent increase in sales, then bubble gum pink, blue, and green. Are you feeling inspired to make a bold move?
