Christmas cocktailsWho knew that those doll-like Rankin/Bass TV characters you quoted every Christmas as a child would be enjoyed later in life as a cocktail?
All of your favorite Christmas characters -- Rudolph, Frosty, and of course, Santa -- have been turned into 10 deliciously seasonal cocktails. 'Tis the season to be merry, indeed!
The Grinch: Your heart (and alcohol level) will grow three sizes with this deliciously green cocktail made of 2 oz. of Midori, 1/2 oz. of fresh lemon juice, and a teaspoon of sugar syrup. Mix with ice and strain; top with a red cherry to represent his heart.

Mrs. Claus Wild Side Punch: Her husband is a fat guy who just works one night a week -- trust that Mrs. Claus keeps her liquor cabinet stocked. This punch is a quarter X-Rated Fusion liqueur, a quarter tequila, a quarter pomegranate juice, and a quarter cranberry juice.
Gingerbread Man: You've probably had your fill of gingerbread men this holiday season, but leave some room for this gingerbread man shot. It's one part Irish cream, one part Goldschlager, one part butterscotch Schnapps, and one part vodka.
Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The other reindeer didn't know what they were missing when they shunned Rudolph from the reindeer games -- the deer knew how to party. Fill a Champagne flute with half Champagne, half peach juice, and then drop a red cherry in.
Frosty Cocktail: You'll drink this cocktail up so fast that you won't even have to worry about it melting. In a blender, mix 1 shot of vodka, 1 shot blue fruit- and cognac-liqueur, 1/2 shot of orange-flavored liqueur, and 1 cup of ice.

Scrooge: Your guests will be saying anything except Bah Humbug after tasting this miser-inspired cocktail. Mix these combinations separately: 2 parts orange juice and 1 part triple sec, 2 parts cranberry juice and 1 part vodka, 1 part ginger ale and 1 part Irish cream. Pour 1, 2, 3 into a glass.
Drunken Elf: After working their butts off in the toy factory all year, Santa's little helpers deserve a cocktail. Mix 1 oz. of Bacardi rum with pink lemonade, and garnish with a candy cane.
Christmas Tree Layered Shot: Oh, Christmas tree, oh Christmas tree, how tasty are your liquors. To create this pretty layered shot, pour the creme de menthe into a shot glass, then gently pour the grenadine from the back of a spoon so that it doesn't mix. Top with Irish cream.
Jack Frost Martini: You may not get that white Christmas that you were hoping for, but who needs snow to get into the seasonal spirit when you have booze? Stir 1 1/2 oz. of vodka with a float of peppermint Schnapps over ice.
Red Hot Santa-tini: Can't have a Christmas cocktail list without mentioning the big guy in the red suit. Rim a martini glass with cocoa powder, with a pinch of cayenne pepper added. Shake together 2 oz. Mazama vodka and 2 oz. Godiva chocolate liqueur and pour into glass. Top with sweetened whipped cream and garnish with a small chili pepper. Ho! Ho! Ho!
