    Roasted Berry Sundaes
    Here we've combined berries and ice cream, two summer favorites, in this super-easy sundae.

    Ingredients
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 tsp lemon zest

    Roasted Berry Sundaes
    Here we've combined berries and ice cream, two summer favorites, in this super-easy sundae.

    Ingredients
    1/4 cup sugar
    1 tsp lemon zest
    1/2 vanilla bean
    1 lb strawberries
    6 oz raspberries
    6 oz blackberries
    1 carton vanilla ice cream

    Preparation
    1. Preheat oven to 450º. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, stir together sugar and lemon zest. Scrape seeds from vanilla bean and add with bean pod to sugar mixture. Add berries, toss gently to coat. Spread evenly on baking sheet.
    2. Roast until berries have released some of their juice and are starting to soften.
    3. Transfer berries to a bowl to cool slightly. Discard vanilla pod. Scoop ice cream into bowls and top with berries. less
