When my neighbors entertain for football parties

they always have huge platters of sandwiches. Sometimes they are cold sandwiches, other times they are hot, but no matter what, they are always amazing. Sandwiches are the perfect foods to serve at your Super Bowl party this Sunday because they're easy to eat, fill people up, and can be prepared ahead of time. Plus, they're definitely a crowd favorite! So check out these 7 tasty sandwiches to serve on game day and get snacking!

1. Cheesesteak Sliders
Who can say no to a cheesesteak? These delicious slider-style steak sandwiches are ideal for guests to wash down with a cold beer.

Ingredients:
1 pound sirloin, very thinly sliced by the butcher (or you could use Steakums)
salt and pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 onion, sliced
1 red bell pepper
small dinner rolls
your favorite steak sauce
4 ounces cream cheese

Directions:
- Season sirloin with salt and pepper. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Working in small batches, brown sirloin on both sides. Remove to a plate.

- Add oil to the pan and cook onions over medium-low heat. Cook for 8-10 minutes, until tender. Add in peppers and cook for 5 more minutes.

- Slice rolls open and spread with a small amount of cream cheese and steak sauce. Fill with steak, peppers, and onions.
