Behold, The Hamburger Dress: Foodie Fashion That Looks Delicious

    By Jess Zanio, Glamour magazine

Many people are born with crazy amounts of passion-and some lucky ones with the talent to match. I'm a lover of fashion (obviously!) and my little sister Caitlin is a lover of food!

Caitlin's love and passion for food has been match by her talent (yep, I know, I'm a bit biased) throughout her 20-something years, sometimes as a sous chef, sometimes as a foodie radio show host and, most currently, as founding editor of The Urban Grocer and host of the newest global foodie show on the Cooking Channel (also called The Urban Grocer).

I love style and fashion just as much as Caitlin loves food, so I started thinking: Like a marriage of peanut butter and jelly or jeans and tee shirts, do food and style mix? According to designer Joy Kampia Joy Kampia, they do. She too, a lover of food and style, has created a collection called Dinner for Eight, crocheted food as fashion. Hamburger Dress? Yup, she's got that. Your Sundae Dress. That too. Her fun wearable "food" gives new meaning to "forever on the hips."

And I'll be wearing my "Donuts are a Girl's Best Friend" necklace to celebrate the Cooking Channel premiere of The Urban Grocer.

Shameless plug? Sure, but she's my little sister. And I produced (and styled) the show, which we shot in Buenos Aires, so watch out for some amazing fashion pieces from Nieves Lavi, Ella Moss and more. Bon Appetit!

I wasn't fussy about crusts. I just loved the sticky pairing of creamy peanut butter with syrupy golden sweetness drizzled from a honey bear in diagonals across the soft white bread. Nothing else--save for maybe apples and peanut butter in a pinch--could have made for as sweet an
