How can these meals be healthy, they are high in everything and just like anything that tastes good, real good, is usually bad for you.

I agree that most of these are not satisfying and have entirely too may preservatives, sodium, and fat! Frozen Indian food seems to be pretty minimally processed and a little healthier...we buy lots of Deep foods. You really can't expect samosas to be very healthy, though! One benefit to making them from frozen is that you can prepare them in the oven. Of all of these, Indian food is the safest and that brand usually tastes very fresh (not like cardboard). We love their Bhindi Masala and it comes with two paratha (bread)... a really nice light dinner for two for only a few bucks!

If and when I do meet my new guy I will take these all into consideration. I love cooking for my man. I would probably consider the amount of fat in whatever I'm serving...nice

Why frozen meals have to be all sugary and/or spicy? What about Diabetes II and Hemorroids? Hellooooo...?

These frozen meals make the garbage that Rachel Ray produces look tasty.

Why don't people just start cooking from scratch again. Thats How you get good healthy food, and alot cheaper. People need to learn that packaged food is bad for you no matter what it is

I agree with the Boston Market comment, if you want to buy frozen entrees, we've bought and prepared them at a vacation cabin for simple fare. Another brand they didn't mention was Wanchai Ferry, I've tried several of these. Since my husband won't eat Chinese, when I crave Chinese food I can prepare this at home, and have the other half for lunch the next day. They are very good. Of course I fix him something else!

The PF Chang dinner I bought last week was gross! The Carrabas's pasta dinner with spinich was a little better but not much. I agree, cook your own when possible. This article reads like an ad!

This is really lousy advice for a nation that has high rates of obesity, cancer, heart disease, diabetes, autism, etc. Phyisicians Committee For Responsible Medicine, John Robbins, Michael Klaper, M.D., Rory Freedman and Alicia Silverstone have much better suggestions.

All of these meals are very expensive!! I work in a supermarket and they ring up almost $10!! It's ridiculous!!! Who knew eating in would be as expensive as eating out!? Some people buy like 2 or 3 of these when they are on sale ($4.99 not a big difference). I think they're insane.

I specifically remember looking at a meal by Buitoni meal and reading that it had 50% sodium in it! My boyfriend gets kidney stones so we usually stray from these types of meals.

Sadly, these pre-made frozen meals are often of the same quality you'd get in a restaurant.
Do you think that the cooks in the big chain restaurants are whipping up sauces for you back there?
No, they're just heating up the same stuff you're buying in the freezer section.

any pre packaged processed supermarket dinners may be tasty but they arent healthy just read the ingredients.obama and his regime want to create jobs there are plenty of jobs being created in the health care industry. i wonder what percentage of those jobs are related to the care of people due to unhealthy eating and obesity. just look around and you can see how many obese people you see. now these people want to be put under the americans with disability act . people that take two seats on a plane train or bus should be charged for two seats
