    Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs Recipe
    Ingredients:
    6 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
2 ounces smoked salmon, finely chopped
    3 tablespoons light mayonnaise
    zest of 1 lemon
    ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
    ¼ teaspoon paprika
    1/8 teaspoon pepper
    capers (optional for garnish)

    Directions:
    Boil the eggs.

Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half.

Drop the yolks into a medium-sized bowl.

Arrange the egg whites on a plate and set them aside.

To the egg yolks, add the smoked salmon, mayonnaise, lemon zest, mustard, paprika, and pepper. Mash with a fork and stir until fully combined; the mixture should be pretty smooth.

Using a spoon, fill the cavity of each of the egg white halves with the yolk mixture (don't be afraid to mound it a bit as pictured). As each egg is filled, transfer it to a serving plate.

If desired, top each deviled egg with a few capers. less

I wasn't fussy about crusts. I just loved the sticky pairing of creamy peanut butter with syrupy golden sweetness drizzled from a honey bear in diagonals across the soft white bread. Nothing else--save for maybe apples and peanut butter in a pinch--could have made for as sweet an
