Happy National Pi Day! Today's holiday is based on the Greek symbol π, which is used to represent the mathematical constant that is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter -- approximately equal to 3.14. Hey, any excuse to eat pie is fine with us!

Pies have become more popular as a wedding food in recent years, and with good reason. They evoke sweet, nostalgic feelings and are delicious in a variety of flavors. We love cherry and berry pies for summer weddings, and pecan and pumpkin pies for fall and winter weddings. Set up a pie bar with different types of pies for your guests to choose from and don't forget the milk! Here is more wedding pie inspiration.
