Turkey Bacon Wrapped Hot Gods with Less Guilt
Make turkey bacon wrapped hot dogs
    Ingredients:
4 no added Nitrite or Nitrate Turkey Dogs
4 pieces no added Nitrite or Nitrate uncured Turkey Bacon
    4 whole wheat buns
    Ketchup and mustard
    Sturdy toothpicks or small skewers

    Directions:
Soak the skewers or toothpick in water for about 10 minutes. Heat your grill to medium high and set up the turkey bacon and turkey dogs for assembling. Let your kids wrap their dog up and make sure to help them secure the bacon with the stick. Place the dogs on the grill for about 8 minutes, flip and cook for another 5 minutes. During the last minute of cooking place the buns on the grill to get them all toasty. Remove your buns and dogs and top them with whatever you desire. less

I sat on the carpet in my parents' bedroom at a low table, the television turned to "I Dream of Jeannie," and ate a peanut butter and honey sandwich cut into neat squares. I wasn't fussy about crusts. I just loved the sticky pairing of creamy peanut butter with syrupy golden sweetness drizzled from a honey bear in diagonals across the soft white bread. Nothing else--save for maybe apples and peanut butter in a pinch--could have made for as sweet an
