I have always been a fan of cream cheese and jam as a combo. Recently I was making a dish of chipotle short ribs for my own blog and had a few chiles left over from the recipe I was creating. I thought "what would go well with this smoky chipotle flavor?" The first thing that popped in my head was strawberry jam….. maybe because they look alike in color? Then without a second passing, I knew I would pour the whole thing over a block of cream cheese and serve it with crackers! It's like a mini cheesecake with a touch of spice. Enjoy!
