The "best, bester, and bestist joints are the little hole in wall places in each and everyones
home town. Huge portions and low prices to boot! The only people that can afford to go to
these high prices and small dishes are OUR POLITICIANS RUNNING THE TUESDAY.
Doesn't matter what party you are from - when it comes to spending wasteful money orn
eating food, they take the cake (literily with real ice cream and strawberrries)......

What about the Olive Garden great food and for the price you can take leftovers home, somewhere around $32 for two and the food is really good.

This is ridiculous. Why don't they ever do restaurants that people actually know and are in almost every state? I really don't care who has the best pasta if I have to drive all the way to Washington to get it! I understand you want to discover places and be unique but come one, what good is it if no one can get to these places? Also these portion sizes wouldn't feed my 18 month old very well...he'd still be hungry and looking for seconds.

Olive Garden It's good and you don't leave hungry or broke!

I could eat every one of those dishes and still be hungry. for 30 dollars each probably? 300 dollars and still be hungry, i don't think so. Try the olde spaghetti factory, there's one in about every major city. the price is reasonable, the pasta is good, free coffee, and ice cream dessert, and you won't leave hungry.

why is everyone complaining about the portion? americans are obese...can't afford 1 more calorie, you talk about health care, starts with eating the right portions.

I read some of the negative comments on here and I am really sorry if anyone is disappointed not to find Chef Boyardee listed. God, some of these dishes look and sound incredible. And the pasta, the piece that holds all the dishes together, look so light and delicious they could be used to construct the wings of angels ! mmmmmmmmm

I don't see anything from those 10 pics/places that is even remotely competitive with what my family has passed down from generation to generation from Sardinia, Italy. Even what is offered at Laurenzo's in NMB, FL., which I don't think is that spectacular even ? What I've been taught to make blows that Italian food away, I don't eat Italian anywhere but homemade if I can help it. Pizza places, like Loven Oven actually have better Italian dishes than most places.
