One of the most frustrating things about summertime beauty is messy makeup. For instance, I can't stand it when I'm at an outdoor wedding and I catch a glimpse of myself in a mirror (or spoon, shiny plate, cell phone, someone's sunglasses, compact or any reflective surface) and see my foundation has melted away or settled into the lines around my eyes and mouth. It's those creepy creases of foundation that scream to the world 'Hey, don't look into my eyes instead look at the lines around my eyes!"

I know the number one way to fix most make up problems is to exfoliate but sometimes the weather is sooo hot, it doesn't matter how much exfoliating I do, it's just going to be a bad make-up day.

If this is something you are familiar with you need to try Bare Minerals powder foundation. This is the only foundation I will use in the summer because it actually works better when it's hot! It does not melt off or cake into the creases of my eyes. It provides great coverage and is light weight (even when I pile it on); it minimizes shine, and has an SPF!

If you're anything like me and want less insecure make-up moments, get online and search for the great deals that are available. You might even be able to find it at your dermatologist's office; that's where I found mine.

Oh, yes I still have bad make-up days but it is no longer due to bad foundation, now its runny eye liner or eye brow pencil. I am open to suggestions!
