The big illusion is that boiled berries with a fancy name at a higher price taste better than a cheaper one.Toliet paper is toliet paper, its used for one purpose, cheap or exspensive what evers available gets used. Boiled berries are just that. If you like starbucks you should, you paid for it. Good coffee is in the mouth of the drinker.

If McDonald's had Dunkin Donuts coffee to with their breakfast I'd be happy. I don't eat there often but on the road a MacDonalds breakfast fills me up, tastes pretty good and don't break the wallet, but Dunkin Donuts has great coffee and I try to get a cup and a few Donut holes before hitting the road again. Whats a Starbucks?

There is obviously a liberal current that has been out to destroy Mcdonald's for a long time. Sorry but McDonald's will stay number one till the end of time!
      We are Lovin' it!

The eggs are real and delcious the breakfasts are the best.

Not only that Mcdonald's has been suporting charities for a lng time and children. What exactly does Starbux support the elite snobs that wouldn't know an egg or a fresh hamburger bun fromt he hole in the wall!

Starbucks coffee is not a premium grade as they like you to believe. They buy the cheap stuff in massive quantity, mix them up with a little bit of the good stuff, then roast the heck out of the beans so they all taste consistently charcoal'ish, killing all the subtle taste of the beans. America is brainwashed to think Starbucks is anywhere even close to the good stuff Europeans and home roasters drink.

Why is this running, Nov. 12, 2011, when it was written, April 27, 2011, is it just an ad for Starbuck?

Mc Donalds coffee is made by a robot, and has WAY too much sugar in it. Yuk.

ppl who like mcD coffee have no taste buds. its kept at temperatures so high any flavor is incinerated before it gets near a cup. i try mcD coffee every 2-3 yrs to see if they have it figured out- no luck so far. and before you start thinking it i dont do s-bucks cuz for the price of 2 coffee's there you can get a large container of folgers and have coffee for a MONTH.

This is a campaign to devalue Starbucks to the level of McDonald's.Next time you are curious about the origin of the coffee varietal ,the tradition or history of the plantation or region ,lore, optimum brewing process etc.,Don't bother to ask any of McDonald's ex- con / Hep C carrier crackheads !

Star Buck's is for those that have permanently damaged their taste buds by drinking that nasty, old coffee that is taboo to those that are in the know... the new prize on the block... you guessed it... it's the super quality, flavorful DOUNK'N DONUTS..... it's nothing less that incredible in flavor... we hear rumor that Obama drinks Starbucks... what does that tell you about this screwed up situation?

Let me explain how population control works. Your going to be fed high doses of sodium not salt. its the same sodium that is also used to vulcanize rubber. With continued continued use, your going to develop high blood pressure and the pills that you take for this raise your blood sugar and are going to cause you to have diabetis. These two thing alone wont kill you they just make it easy for something else to.

I just made a comment and don't see it yet but...just read the last slide. The buns are not frozen either. We threw away over 400 buns one night because they expired THAT DAY. You need to check into facts a bit more before making statements on a site as large as Yahoo (and not being a random user).

First off, I worked at McDonald's, and I'm not defending them. However, the round eggs are real eggs in a round shaping thing. I've watched employees crack open the eggs and put them in it in the morning. The folded eggs do come pre-cooked/formed though.

Second, the picture you have labeled "McChicken" isn't a McChicken, it's a classic grilled chicken sandwich. I didn't check into calorie information on it to see whether you have McChicken or grilled chicken information but one is wrong either way.

you would think they would try to check the darned facts before trying to write an article on fast food but then that would mean actually doing some real work

I Work At Mcdonalds. The Round Eggs. Which What They Are Called Are REAL EGGS. Eggs You Yourself Can Go To The Grocery Store & Buy. They Dont Take The Yolk Out, They Just Pop It. Its Real Food. & Its Good At That. McDonalds Has Been Around For A Long Time. All These Other Places Just Want To Compete To Try & Be Better. Thats All It Is.

All I know is that if I eat eggs at home I'm fine. When I eat eggs from McDonalds I get violently ill. I would like to know what is different about their eggs.

and as for organic truthfully starbucks is no more organic than mcdonalds at least mcdonalds is up front about it on top of that starbucks is an overinflated high priced waste of space their coffee sucks the food is little better at least mcdonalds never caused me to have food poisoning just from a beverage too and the bleached flour is the same in the engish muffins you get at any store the eggs are normally bought from local farms in the regions as well as the produce so on top of giving away most of there money they also support local businesses and farms.

The round eggs from McDonlads are real directly out of the shell. They crack them open and put them in a metal ring to make them round!!!!

Less calories doesn't equal health in all cases. I would take a menu item that has 50-100 more calories that is made with more natural ingredients over something that is processed and filled with preservatives any day of the week.

Way to go MIke. And I would add to that the foods full of pesticides labelled as healthy, like fruits and vegetables that are not organic. It doesn't wash off and adds to likelihood of cancer.
