I love my library. I'm never paying for a book again...unless I want it to look pretty on the shelf.

I've read The Help, Bossypants and The Hunger Games and they're all good. Also, they're all available at your local public library for free. As a librarian, just got to put a plug in for libraries since they need support more than ever now.

the hunger games is amazing. although i was a little disappointed by the last book :( it is a rather dark and gloomy book, but it does have humor in it, and it's definitely worth reading.

Oh, I also listened to Bossypants on audiobook, and while it was OF COURSE hilarious, I think I missed out on a lot of the funny pictures she references in the book. I'll probably check it out from the library so I can get the full effect. =)

I can recommend The Hunger Games trilogy - but don't read it if you plan on going to sleep that night, because you'll want to stay up late reading! "Room" is a great read as well. Be forewarned, though, both The Hunger Games and Room are quite dark, and not your typical "fluffy" summer reads.

i wish there was a synopsis of each story, so I know what they are about. I am finishing up the Millenium Series (Girl who kicked the hornets nest) I have a love/hate relationship with the series. Good story, but sometimes a pain to get through. There are so many different characters its a bit difficult to keep up with. My favorite in the series is the first one by far (The girl with the Dragon Tattoo).

I just read Never Let Me Go. It's a good read but kind of a downer. Hunger Games is just fantastic!
