    Have a running list of questions you want to ask your doctor and know what is most important to you. Don't feel bad bringing it with you to appointments and asking a lot of questions -- this is a very important decision! Following are a few of the questions I made sure to ask every doctor we talked to. Obviously you can add to this as you see fit, but it's a good starting point!

    Choosing your child's pediatrician is an extremely important task. Before doing so, I recommend calling your OBGYN for his or her suggestions and a few close friends that you trust. This will give you a starting off point. When my husband and I were searching for our pediatrician we actually wound up "interviewing" four different doctors until we found the best fit for our family. This was wonderful because it gave us the ability to start building a relationship with the doctor before our son was even born.
