ESSENCE magazine honored beauty innovators at the Best in Black Beauty Awards in New York City this week. ESSENCE's Beauty Director Corynne Corbett and Celebrity Stylist June Ambrose co-hosted the evening which was touted as the "ultimate beauty conversation." Honorees included celebrity hairstylist Ted Gibson, the head stylist on "What Not to Wear," Beyoncé's go-to manicurist Lisa Logan and legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath.
