Finally they’ve gotten it right. We were never huge fans of Scott Baio, so it was sort of unclear why he has been getting all the VH1 reality show love ("Scott Baio is 45…and Single," "Scott Baio is 46…and Pregnant"). We all have an extreme fondness for "Paradise City," "Welcome to the Jungle," and of course the nine-minutes-of-awesome-rock-ballad that is "November Rain," but we can't say the same for the Guns N' Roses frontman's solo career.
Axl Rose has been working on an album called Chinese Democracy for the past 10 years. Ten years! Who knew? Well, at least one really big fan at Dr Pepper did, because the company announced that everyone in America (sans estranged bandmates Slash and Buckethead) will get a free can of the delicious carbonated concoction if Axl finally drops his album in 2008.
