So, Bernie Madoff is in jail, awaiting sentencing on swindling $65 billion from thousands of people who unknowingly invested in the biggest Ponzi scheme in history. Nearly 100 of his financially wiped-out victims showed up in court to hear him plead guilty, but they left feeling terribly dissatisfied, even as Madoff was led away in handcuffs.
