Never in my life have I felt stuck. And, when, for just a moment, i have felt stagnant, my body and mind connected and concocted an immediate plan of action. Unhappy in a relationship (after repeated attempts to make it work) - move on. Not satisfied at the work place - get on the computer, fix my resume, call connections and get a new job. Ok. I heard someone say a long time ago that a person switches careers 5 times in their lifetime. I'm getting close to that. I was a chemist, an IT person, a real estate agent and now a healthcare consultant. That makes it 4 career changes. Wow, talk about swinging from one industry to another. But if you really take a close look, my job history has primarily been in the science field: chemistry, IT and now healthcare. Somehow, the analytical side of me keeps calling me back.
