Read More »The deadline is for real this time: The government truly will switch TV stations that broadcast in analog signals to digital on Friday, June 12. After a four-month delay, announced when the government ran out of $40 coupons for converter boxes needed for analog TVs to pick up a digital signal, it's a definite go this time. There are still about 3 million people who have only analog TVs or are basic-cable customers without set-top boxes, but that's half the number of people unprepared in February.
