David Blaine set the world record for holding his breath on the "Oprah Winfrey Show," immersing himself in water for 17 minutes and 4 seconds. I had no idea this was even humanly possible. That is a freakin’ long ass time. To showcase my absolute dismay at this feat, a list of things you can do in amount of time to further boggle your mind:

3 min: run around the block +
2 min: check for change under couch pillows +
    5 min: make guacamole +
2 min: clip your toenails +
4 min: name the 50 states in alphabetical order +
    1 min: chug a beer +
4 seconds: sniff your armpit to check if you smell
    =
    17 min, 4 sec!

Congratulations, David! We're...glad you didn't die. [US]
