Holidays in New York are magical. There's the windows decorated in their holiday finest on Fifth Avenue. There's skaters in Rockefeller Center and Central Park. And don't forget the Rock Center tree (or the Rockettes). But you know what else? Holidays in New York are hectic. Holiday parties, charity events, and trying to squeeze in time for family (let alone each other) take their toll. The Google calendar I share with my fiance (a great way to coordinate busy holiday schedules, by the way!) looks like a patchwork quilt of colors and appointments and places to be and it's not even December yet and oh my gosh take a deep breath....
