Before reading this post, there are two things you should know about me:
1) I've always hated going to the doctor. I was that little kid who ran around the examining room screaming, trying to avoid a booster shot.
2) I have anxiety dreams. A lot. These…

I have a date at 2:30. With
my gynecologist. What am I going to wear?! A quick Yahoo! search
brings up nearly 680,000 hits when you ask about how to prepare for
your annual gynecologist visit, but they're all directed at 16
year old girls. Yo, Internet, stop assuming I'm so mature! So

What in the world do your boobs have to do with drinking -- or not drinking -- your favorite morning beverage? A lot. Some might even say, twice as much as you'd think.
For the last month, I've been fighting being frantic over a lump in my breast. It hasn't been easy. I've been examined, mammogrammed, and examined again. You know that dreaded moment when you are sitting in your gynecologist's office? No, not stepping on the scale. Not stripping down to your socks and the ill-fitting gown, and not the shiver of the inevitably frigid speculum.
You know the moment I mean -- the one when the just-nice-enough nurse asks you to tell her the first day of your last period.
