Do you really need a Brazilian wax these days? That's the question a woman posed to the Times of London, after a new beau was "shocked" by her presence of pubic hair. In her letter, she says, "I don’t think that a permanent tan and Brazilian wax should be dealbreakers in a relationship. Or am I just hopelessly outdated?" Read More »

by Dr. Patti Britton As the
Sex Coach, many women ask me about the best way to remove hair
"down there." It's one of the most common questions
but there is no one right answer for everyone. Because each of us
has unique needs, tastes and, yes, styles, the real answer is: it
depends. It… Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (0) | Blog

My sister and I recently got into a debate about this. She's a meticulous shaver year-round, while I tend to get a little lax once the weather cools down enough for me to wear pants every day (much to my boyfriend's chagrin).Where do you stand on this? Is cold weather the perfect excuse to put your razor away or do you like having smooth legs year-round? (Not sure what your position is? This quiz should clarify things.)
Also, it'd be great to hear from any guys on this issue. I know what this survey says about their feelings on smooth legs, but I'd love to find out more.

I was reading Daily Mail columnist Liz Jones’ latest crazy rant (today the subject is unwanted body hair) and it was just as bats**t and entertaining as usual, until I came across the following description in regards to a cousin of the Brazilian bikini wax:
“Then there is its more extreme stablemate the Hollywood, which takes away everything, leaving the bearer distastefully childlike.”
How did I miss out on this terminology? Was I absent that day during beauty school? Are YOU getting this done!?

Brazilians are the prevailing
look for most women these days—but are they a downright
requirement? For starters, we keep hearing about more merkins (i.e.
coochie toupees) in Hollywood—and actresses' attitudes toward
them. Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (20) | Blog

OMG, I had no idea that waxing was such a crazy (and let's be honest, gross) profession. These poor ladies are dealing with some serious stuff: insane clients, dirty butts and more. I wouldn't have believed it, except I heard it straight from the waxers' mouths: Jodi Shays of Queen Bee Waxing in Culver City, Calif., Cindy Barshop of Completely Bare Salons in New York City, and Leah Nacion of The Waxing Co. in Honolulu all spilled the darkest secrets of waxing. Check them out below, and pray that you haven't committed one of these faux pas (ew!). Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (23) | Blog
