It’s always devastating when one of our favorite TV series is canceled prematurely. We’ve been in mourning over Arrested Development since 2006, watching the episodes on DVD and awaiting this longtime-rumored feature film we heard was in the works. This week Hancock star Jason Bateman confirmed it will happen, and it won’t just be the equivalent of several episodes piled back to back. So what’s the hold up? "We all want to do it,” says Bateman. “All the actors want to do it, the writers want to do it, and the boss wants to do it. And they are working on making a deal, probably as we speak. I, for one, am extremely excited to see what Mr. Bateman will come up with. Anyone who's a fan of Arrested Development (which sorely was yanked off the tube in 2006) can understand and appreciate the talent of Jason Bateman. He's hilarious. His comic timing is impeccable.
