Kimora, who has kept the surname of famous ex, mogul Russell Simmons, was asked at a recent Cartier event if she was engaged she said “kind of.” When reporters pried as to whether Honsou had given her an engagement ring, Simmons response was, "Well, kind of, not quite." I have to admit, Russell Simmons has never intrigued me in the way his former wife, wackadoodle of excess extraordinaire Kimora Lee Simmons, has me ashamedly compelled into watching marathons of her reality show on weekends. Somehow, the only interesting thing about him to me seemed to be his choice of (ex) wife. Sure, he runs a bedillion-gajillion dollar business and is an icon of the hip hop industry, but he always seemed like well-suited wallpaper when standing so seriously next to the amazon that is Kimora Lee.

So...Kimora Lee Simmons had a dog—for a long time, a full 18 years, exactly the time it take to raise a grown human. And last week, the dog died.
