Get in the picture (literally)
For years I was the photographer. If there was a camera on the go, it was in my hands. I would use the excuse that I had a background in photography, attended a world-renowned photography school in Chicago and even had a photography studio a few decades ago. It was only natural that I would be behind the lens and not in front of it. This was also the most comfortable place for me since I know that photos tell the truth.
Looking back at family albums I'm sad to not see more pictures of me with my children. I hated to have my picture taken and I'm going to tell you why.
