Were it not for the idea of a broken heart, many of rock 'n' roll's greatest love songs would be without a subject. Country music would have certainly never survived and the blues would refer to spending a Saturday afternoon at the laundromat with your Levi's. Thank goodness for the tortured souls who thought to pick up a guitar and air their dirty laundry. Read More »

The model/musician couple has been a tumultuous yet passionate pairing for decades. There’s a fine line though where many of these uber hip, hot couples take the partying too far. The latest M&M combo we’re feeling: British model Agyness Deyn (Check the new Burberry campaign) and The Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. Agyness sings the song “Who” for the Five O’Clock Heroes and is clearly engulfed in his scene as he is in hers. Albert brought her as his date to the Songwriters Hall of Fame where the couple posed together and smooched on the red carpet, and once in the event they smoothly handles press together, even when reporters inquired about their relationship. He seems arrogant, cocky and completely phony. Read More »- Let’s talk: Comment (738) | Blog

One fourth of the House of Boys is named Jay-rad, and he is a very goofy, very young, ridiculously talented kid. He plays guitar--but not to pick up chicks at open mics. He's in a band with another ridiculously talented kid who we love, and they've just added a drummer and a keyboard,... Read More »
