It seems like a lifetime ago, but it was really just ten years ago when I stood in front of a university classroom teaching college students who were mostly just hoping to get an easy A (ha! suckers!) by taking a Women Studies course. My areas of research specialty were ending violence against women, portrayals of women in the media, and a slew of topics that fell under women's sexual health and spiritual well-being.
