    Remember The Office episode when Michael Scott is trying to impress Ryan by telling Pam she is fired for steeling Post-It notes from the office? He doesn’t figure out that maybe he’s crossing a line from (never) funny to abusive until she breaks down and sobs.

    Jim’s pranks (jelloed staplers, telling Dwight it’s Friday on a Thursday). Funny. Michael’s. Not funny. Just a thought on April Fool’s day, when pranks are probably flying across the “interweb” and from cubicle to cubicle today. Workplace humor has its place and its limits, as I’m sure anyone who’s been on the receiving end of a really off-color joke can attest.
