Has sharing become a movement?
In the wake of sharing-based ventures like zipcar and Freecycle comes Neighborrow, an online library of personal belongings available for loan to neighbors:
Neighborrow allows you to post belongings—books, furniture, tools—you’re willing to loan, but want back, and view what others in your area are offering. The website, currently in beta, uses all the accountability measures, such as user reputations and borrowing history, established by sites like eBay.
Like other sites favored by “freegans,” Neighborrow is meant to reduce waste, redundant consumption and shipping.
