America sent a dagger through my heart last night. Contestant Michael Johns was voted off American Idol. How is it possible that a charismatic singer with showmanship and sex appeal was sent home before Kristy Lee Cook! Before anyone yells at me, I understand her appeal: the country singing, horse riding, girl next door. But, she doesn't deserve to still be in the competition. In a karaoke bar, she's a good singer; on American Idol, she is mediocre at best.
