La Mer and Oceana celebrate Ocean Day and skincare

As Baze mentioned, it is H-O-T. And when the Big Apple heats up, the only place I want to be is on the beach, which is where I spent most of my weekend. Sunday also happened to be World Ocean Day, which celebrates the sea's vital role in our ecosystem. The only reason I know that is because I went to a stylish pre-Ocean Day party last week hosted by super-luxe skincare company, La Mer, and, Oceana, an organization that works to increase awareness about the need to protect the world's oceans and the creatures that call it home.
