You know how sometimes you sit down in an unfamiliar rocking or reclining chair and you have that "Oh sh**!" moment when it feels like you're going to tip all the way over onto your back, so you jerk forward in a way that is ultimately quite embarrassing? (It's just me? Oh.) Well, Erik Beck of BackyardFX has created a video that will justify that fear of falling. Inspired by Sweeney Todd's dead body-dumping seat, he modified a junk-shop recliner into a fully-tilting demon barber's best friend. The first three minutes of the video are worth watching if only for the footage of painting and reupholstering the chair—techniques that can benefit even people with pure intentions—but you may want to zone out during the mini-melodramedy play at the end. (The last few seconds do show the evil chair in action, though.)
