    I'm just going to say it: I kind of miss the days when celebrities were just celebrities, when they didn't also  fancy themselves perfumers, authors, clothing designers, and energy drink crafters. I mean, I recognize that this is a great way for floundering stars to become gazillionaires and soak their fan base for all they can (Paris Hilton has built an entire career on this), but things are getting a out of control. In just the last week, plans were revealed for an Avril Lavigne fragrance, Jessica Simpson's new line of lingerie and country singer  Taylor Swift's  clothing collection for tweens. (This is not even touching on the clothing of such visionaries as Ashlee Simpson, Mischa Barton,  Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Posh Spice, Nicky Hilton, the list goes on to infinity)
